The ICT sector role descriptions below are samples taken from the sector. We welcome feedback on these.

These sample role description can be used across a range of workforce management activities, including recruitment, performance management, learning and development and career planning.  

Each role description is in line with the Role Description Development Guide and identifies the capability levels required for the role from the NSW Public Sector Capability Framework Version 2:2020  and the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA). The capability set is available at www.psc.nsw.gov.au/capabilityframework/ICT.
