Australian Network on Disability
The Australian Network on Disability (AND) is a not-for-profit organisation that helps organisations develop behaviours, attitudes, systems and knowledge to successfully engage with people with disability as employees, customers and stakeholders. The Deaf Society
The Deaf Society has two major areas: to educate and support members of the Deaf Community to enable them to access relevant services and to educate the wider community on the needs of Deaf people.
Disability Employment Services
Disability Employment Services (DES) assists job seekers with disability, injury or ill health to find and maintain sustainable employment. The services focus on the individual needs of job seekers with an increased emphasis on employment, skills development, education and training. Employment Assistance Fund
The Employment Assistance Fund helps people with disability and mental health condition by providing financial assistance to purchase a range of work-related modifications and services for people who are about to start a job or who are currently working, as well as those who require assistance to find and prepare for work.

The Department of Social Services is the Australian Government’s main source of advice on social policy including the national Disability Strategy.

The Australian Human Rights Commission is an independent statutory organisation and reports to Federal Parliament through the Attorney-General.

NSW Anti-Discrimination Board

National Relay Service
The National Relay Service (NRS) is an Australia-wide phone service for people who are deaf or have a hearing or speech impairment. This 24-hour service provides a link between a TTY user and a regular phone. The service is provided free-of-charge to both hearing-impaired and non-hearing impaired people. The service uses an operator who passes the messages between the person using the TTY and the person using a standard handset.To place a call using the NRS, please visit the NRS website.
