How to apply

The online application form has been designed to capture all of your relevant information (no attachments or cover letter required).

  • Start your online application early
  • Aim to submit your application early to avoid missing the closing date and time in case of technical difficulties
  • Prepare any substantial text responses in a word document and then copy and paste them into the online application form to avoid being timed out.
  • Provide an email address and phone number that you access regularly, and will retain access to, e.g. a personal account

Please complete all fields – No attachments are necessary
In the application you will be asked about

  • Your experience such as:
    • Any professional work history
    • Other relevant work experience
    • Education and training qualifications
    • Professional certifications
    • Your Referees
  • We will also ask if you require an adjustment to make the assessment process more accessible. Your answer will not affect whether you progress in the recruitment process or whether you are successful for a graduate role. We are asking so we can make sure the assessment process gives you a fair opportunity to be your best self.
  • If you run into any technical difficulties with your online application, contact the I work for NSW Support team at or 1800 562 679.
  • Again, please complete all fields in the form. This information will be used by potential employers to identify candidates that may be a good fit for their roles

  • If you meet the eligibility requirements, we will invite you to complete an online ability assessment, which assess verbal and numerical aptitude. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and you will get an opportunity to practice beforehand. You can also have a look at some sample questions and practice tests. We recommend you focus on the numerical and verbal practice tests available.
  • Don’t worry if you don’t complete every question. The assessment is supposed to be challenging and most people do not finish every item.
  • Remember to check your email inbox regularly (including junk/spam folders) as this assessment must be completed by specified deadline
  • To help you prepare for the online assessment, please check out our helpful tips:

  • Before the assessment day, you will be asked to complete an online personality questionnaire which takes about 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The questionnaire will be emailed to you so you can complete it at a time that suits your needs.
