How to apply

The online application form has been designed to capture all of your relevant information (no attachments or cover letter are required).

  • Start your online application early
  • Aim to submit your application early to avoid missing the closing date and time in case of technical difficulties  
  • Prepare any substantial text responses in a word document and then copy and paste them into the online application form to avoid being timed out while typing 
  • Provide an email address and phone number that you access regularly, and will retain access to, e.g. a personal account

Please complete all fields – No attachments are necessary.
In the online application form you will be asked about:

  • Your background such as:
    • Any professional work history
    • Other relevant work experience
    • Education and training qualifications
    • Professional certifications
    • Referees
  • We will also ask if you require an adjustment to make the assessment process more accessible. Your answer will not affect whether you progress in the recruitment process or whether you are successful in securing a place in the recruitment pool. We are asking so we can make sure the assessment process gives you a fair opportunity to be your best self.
  • As part of your application you will be invited to complete an online questionnaire. This invitation will be sent to you via email within minutes of submitting your application.
  • Remember to check your email inbox regularly (including junk/spam folders) as this assessment must be completed by the specified deadline.
  • This online questionnaire takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will assess you against pre-established standards for the advertised role(s).
  • The online questionnaire can be completed via desktop, mobile or tablet and is compatible with all browsers except Internet Explorer 8.

  • The next step in the selection process involves an Electronic In-tray Exercise which is designed to measure your situational knowledge in relation to certain capabilities.
  • This is a timed exercise which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. You will get to access a video demonstration to help you prepare for this assessment.
  • Remember to check your email inbox regularly (including junk/spam folders) as this assessment must be completed by the specified deadline.

  • JavaScript needs to be activated on the Web Browser.
  • Cookies must be allowed on the Web Browser. The application uses cookies to keep track of a candidate’s authentication status and session state. No other information is kept in the cookie, and the cookie is removed after expiration.
  • The next step in the selection process involves a Telephone Based Role Play, followed by a Written De-brief.
  • You will be invited to schedule an appointment and will complete the exercise from your own chosen location.
  • This is a timed exercise which will take a total of 45 minutes. You will get access to a video demonstration to help you prepare for this assessment.
  • You will need access to a desktop or tablet to do the exercise (due to the written component, we advise that you do not use your mobile phone for this exercise).
  • Remember to check your email inbox regularly (including junk/spam folders) as an appointment must be scheduled by the specified deadline.
  • To help you prepare for the online assessment, please check out these helpful tips:

    • Ensure you are in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed
  • Ensure your system is compatible with the following system requirements:
    • Computer running Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 10
    • Apple computer running OS X 10.9 or higher
    • Android tablet version 4.1, or higher
    • Apple tablet (iPad) version 9, or higher
  • The following browsers and browser versions are supported on the assessment platform:
    • Latest version of Google Chrome (preferred browser)
    • Latest version of Firefox
    • Internet Explorer version 11
    • Safari version 9, or higher
    • Latest version of Microsoft Edge is only supported for On Demand interviews (not for Live interviews)
  • This is your chance to show us who you are and put your best foot forward.
  • Assessment days will be held in late November and early December at the offices of Hudson Talent Management in the Sydney CBD. You must be able to attend in person.
  • Activities at the assessment day will assess your capabilities in a range of contexts and may include: 
    • Group activity
    • Online skills assessment
    • Structured interview
  • The assessment day will run for around 3.5 hours. If this is likely to pose a challenge for you, please don’t hesitate to contact the recruitment team to arrange an adjustment.
