Signature programs

Our signature programs are open to high potential / high performing senior executives in Band 1, 2 and 3 (or equivalent) level. Eligible nominees must be employed in an ongoing role or be in an 18-month minimum equivalent temporary role.

Selection to the program is by nomination in line with each department/ agency talent review process and NSW Government diversity targets. For more information, refer to the nominations page.

For our Executive Leadership Essentials program eligible participants are new senior executives at Band 1 - 3 (or equivalent) that are new to the NSW public sector (within 6 months) or are a new Band 1 executive, from a non-executive role within the public sector (within 6 months of start date). 

Aboriginal Leadership Development

High potential Aboriginal public sector employees who aspire to leadership roles in the NSW public sector, and who meet the criteria listed below:

  • high potential Aboriginal staff who are self-directed, highly motivated and committed
  • in ongoing employment in substantive roles or minimum 18-month temporary role from Clerk Grade 7/8-9/10 and 11/12
  • demonstrate leadership capabilities in their current role and want to make a difference in the NSW public sector.
