State of the Sector 2014
Welcome to the third State of the NSW Public Sector report. Last year's report concentrated on the very significant reform agenda initiated during the reporting period.
This year with the legislative and policy foundations now in place for a new approach to public sector workforce management, implementation is the key to success. A better picture shows good early progress and points to some considerable strengths in the attitudes of employees and employers. It also, for the first time, includes the customer perspective. Future reports will assess how this process is tracking against the objective of building high-performing public sector agencies.
