On Thursday 3 December, the PSC in partnership with DENconnect hosted an event to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability.

This year's theme 'There's more to inclusion - there's more to us' is recognition of the forward steps we've made, but also acknowledging there's more to be done.

The event was emceed by PSC Deputy Commissioner, Chris Lamb and attendees heard from Caroline Casey (founder, The Valuable 500), Secretary, Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, Jim Betts and Secretary, Department of Communities and Justice, Michael Coutts-Trotter.

The event was an important reminder to continue the discussion about inclusion as well as recognising disability is both visible and non-visible.
